NOTIFICATION OF THE RESIGNATION OF THE DEBT SPONSOR
In accordance with to paragraph 2.4(e) of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Debt Listings Requirements (the
“Requirements”), noteholders are hereby advised that Rand Merchant Bank (a division of FirstRand
Bank Limited) (the “Debt Sponsor”) has resigned as the Debt Sponsor to First National Bank of Namibia
Limited with effect from 28 February 2021.
The reason for the resignation is as a result of paragraph 2.4(e) of the Requirements stipulating that
all issuers must appoint an independent debt sponsor by 1 March 2021.
