sale of 40 million common shares in Cleveland-Cliffs
A media release dated 9 February 2021 and available on the ArcelorMittal S.A. website relates
to the sale by ArcelorMittal North America Holdings LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of
ArcelorMittal S.A., of 40 million Cleveland-Cliffs common shares through a fully underwritten
public market offering.
ArcelorMittal S.A. refers to ArcelorMittal Sociètè Anonyme, a company registered in
Luxembourg. ArcelorMittal S.A. is not to be confused with ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited, a
company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa and listed on the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange.
Shareholders are therefore advised that ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited is not a party in the
above transaction and is not affected by or involved in the transaction.
