GUS ATTRIDGE TO STEP DOWN AT END OF 2021
In accordance with paragraphs 3.59 (b) and (c) of the JSE Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Michael Guy (“Gus”) Attridge, the Deputy Group
Chief Executive of Aspen, has informed the board of directors (“the Board”) of his
intention to step down from his current role and to retire from the Board with effect
from the end of this year. Gus will turn 60 years of age this year. He is a co-founder
of Aspen and, in addition to other duties, has fulfilled the prescribed function of
financial director from the time Aspen was listed in 1998. Gus will commence a new
role at Aspen in 2022, which will be more fully defined in the months ahead, but
which will include supporting and mentoring of the executive team.
A structured process to consider internal and external candidates to fill the vacancy
that will be created will begin immediately.
