Resignation of Director
In accordance with paragraph 6.39(b) of the Debt Listings Requirements, the board of directors (the
“Board”) of Bank of China Limited (the “Bank”), being the Parent company of BOC Johannesburg
Branch, advises that Mr Wang Jiang has submitted his resignation as the Vice Chairman of the Board,
Executive Director, President of the Bank and the relevant Board sub-committees, owing to a change
in employment. The resignation of Mr Jiang is effective from 5 February 2021.
Mr Wang Jiang has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board, and there are no matters
that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Bank.
The Board of the Bank expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr Jiang for his contributions during his
tenure.
