TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as
soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by
more than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the six months ended 31 December 2020 by management has
indicated that:
- the earnings per share (“EPS”) is expected to be between 55.02 cents and 62.26 cents, reflecting an increase
of between 51.9% and 71.9% compared to the EPS of 36.21 cents for the six months ended
31 December 2019; and
- the headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) is expected to be between 33.97 cents and 37.40 cents, reflecting
a decrease of between -6.8% and 2.6% compared to the HEPS of 36.45 cents for the six months ended
31 December 2019.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
Putprop’s auditors. Putprop's financial results are expected to be released on SENS on or about 5 March 2021.
