APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The board of directors (“Board”) of AVI is pleased to announce the
appointment of Miss Busisiwe (Busi) Silwanyana to the Board as an
independent non-executive director, and as a member of the Audit
and Risk Committee, with effect from 22 February 2021.
Busi was Head of Philips Capital Africa for 3 years, based in
Johannesburg. Prior to that she spent fifteen years in banking,
initially with Absa Corporate & Investment Banking and then with
the Standard Bank Group Limited (both in South Africa and in the
United Kingdom) working in Corporate & Investment Banking and
Business Banking.
