APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND CHANGES TO EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg
Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors of SOH is pleased to announce the appointment
of Mr Andre Smith (“Andre”) as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the
Company with effect from 1 March 2021.
Andre, a mechanical engineer by training, has broad experience in all facets of the
electric cable industry in which he has worked for the past 28 years. During this period,
Andre held senior executive positions.
The Board welcomes Andre to SOH and looks forward to working with him.
