NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN AUDIT FIRM
In accordance with paragraph 6.25 of the Debt Listings Requirements, debtholders are hereby notified of
the decision by the Board of Directors of the Company to appoint new external auditors. In addition to
rotation considerations, the Company has decided that its requirements would be better met by a larger
audit firm.
Following an extensive selection process, which was overseen by the Merchant West group’s Audit and
Risk Committee, PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. (“PWC”) has been appointed with effect from 3 March
2021, with Herman Eksteen as the designated audit partner. The audit services provided by BDO South
Africa Incorporated has been terminated with thanks, with effect from 3 March 2021.
