APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CHAIRMAN / CHAIRMAN DESIGNATE
As previously communicated to shareholders, Mr Francois Marais, current Chairman of the Board is
due to retire at the AGM to be held on 16 November 2021. A process was followed to appoint a Deputy
Chairman / Chairman Designate that will take over from Mr Marais.
In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, the Board is
pleased to announce that pursuant to a comprehensive process, Mr Rhidwaan Gasant has been
appointed by the Board to the position of Deputy Chairman / Chairman Designate effective 16 March
2021 and will work closely with Mr Marais until he retires from the Board.
The Board wishes Mr Gasant all of the best in his new role.
