APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CEO AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER FOR BNPP PF SOUTH AFRICA
Noteholders are advised of the appointment of Balraj Dev as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief
Financial Officer with effect from 1 May 2021.
Balraj Dev takes this role after serving as Chief Risk Officer at RCS for nearly 5 years. He has successfully
integrated the risk function into the BNP Paribas group whilst establishing a solid governance risk
function in all the relevant Board Sub-committees. Balraj has over 25 years of experience within the
banking and financial industry including BNP Paribas group in the UK, France and South Africa.
Hanro Fick, RCS Finance Executive, who has been a key pillar in the RCS Finance team for the past 6
years, will continue in his role as Deputy and also be appointed as RCS Debt Officer.
Marine van Brakel, currently Chief Financial Officer, is appointed as Chief Operating Officer and remain
a Director on the Board. Her knowledge of the RCS business will be a key asset as she leads various
different operating areas in the business.
