RESIGNATION OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board of directors
of the Company (“Board”) wishes to advise York shareholders that Mr. Shakeel Meer has resigned
as a non-executive director of the Company, with effect from 30 April 2021.
Mr. Meer was an executive at the Industrial Development Corporation. He joined the Board as a
non-executive director on 4 September 2007. His insight and experience has provided invaluable
contributions to the Board and thorough inputs to the subcommittees to which he was a member.
The Board would like to thank Mr. Meer for his service to the Company during his tenure and wish
him continued success in his future endeavours.
