B-BBEE ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORT – MTN GROUP AND SUBSIDIARIES
In accordance with paragraph 16.21(g) and Appendix 1 to Section 11 of the JSE Listings Requirements and
Section 13G(2) of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, shareholders are advised that the
Company’s B-BBEE annual compliance report and certificate is available on the Company’s website at
www.mtn.com.
The B-BBEE Contributor Status for MTN Group considers both the South African operating entities as well
as the South African group function. A Level 2 B-BBEE Contributor Status was achieved for MTN Group
and a Level 1 B-BBEE Contributor Status was achieved for MTN SA, respectively.
Commenting on the annual compliance report, Group President and CEO, Ralph Mupita said, “We are
encouraged by the progress we have made for both MTN Group and MTN SA in the year under review.
We remain very committed to supporting broader socio-economic transformation, within our Ambition
