FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
ACT (“THE ACT”): ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORT
Shareholders of the Company (“Shareholders”) are hereby advised that the Company’s
notice of annual general meeting (“Notice of AGM”), incorporating the summarised audited
consolidated annual financial statements for the year ended 28 February 2021
(“Summarised Financial Statements”) was distributed to Shareholders today,
28 June 2021, and contains no modifications to the audited results which were announced
on SENS on 27 May 2021.
The following reports will also be available on the Company’s website, at www.afrimat.co.za
as from today, 28 June 2021:
1. the Notice of AGM, incorporating the Summarised Financial Statements;
2. the Company’s full integrated annual report; and
3. the full audited consolidated annual financial statements of the Company for the year
ended 28 February 2021.
NOTICE OF AGM
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting (“AGM”) will be conducted entirely by
remote interactive electronic platform (Zoom) at 14:00 on Wednesday, 4 August 2021, to
transact the business as set out in the Notice of AGM.
The date on which Shareholders must be recorded as such in the share register of the
Company to be eligible to vote at the AGM is Friday, 30 July 2021, with the last day to trade
being Tuesday, 27 July 2021.
BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT ACT: ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORT
In accordance with paragraph 16.21(g) and Appendix 1 to Section 11 of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, notice is hereby given that the Company’s annual compliance report
for the year ended 28 February 2021 in terms of section 13G(2) of the Act has been published
and is available on the Company’s website at
https://www.afrimat.co.za/index.php/sustainability/transformation.
