FINAL DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2021
Nictus shareholders (“Shareholders”) are hereby advised that the board of directors of the Company
has declared a final gross cash dividend of 5.00 cents (2020: 3.00 cents) per ordinary share for the year
ended 31 March 2021. The dividend has been declared out of income reserves.
The salient dates for the payment of the final dividend are detailed below:
Last day to trade cum dividend Tuesday, 20 July 2021
Shares to commence trading ex-dividend Wednesday, 21 July 2021
Record date Friday, 23 July 2021
Payment date Monday, 26 July 2021
Shares may not be rematerialised or dematerialised between Wednesday, 21 July 2021 and Friday,
23 July 2021, both days inclusive.
In terms of South African taxation legislation effective from 1 April 2012 and in accordance with the JSE
Limited Listings Requirements, the following additional information is disclosed:
- the local dividend withholding tax rate is 20%;
- the net local dividend amount is 4.00 cents per ordinary share for Shareholders liable to pay tax on
dividends and the gross local dividend amount is 5.00 cents per ordinary share for Shareholders
exempt from paying such dividend tax;
- Nictus’ income tax reference number is 9400084712; and
- Nictus’ issued share capital is 53 443 500 ordinary shares.
