IMPACT OF KZN AND GAUTENG UNREST ON THE GROUP’S OPERATIONS
Trellidor is deeply saddened and concerned about the unrest that broke out in South Africa
last week, with the areas hardest hit, being KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. We are particularly
saddened by the loss of lives, the destruction of property and the resultant impact on the
economy and the livelihood of people.
Shareholders are advised that the events of the past week in South Africa have not affected
any of the Group’s manufacturing operations other than the Durban factory, which as a
precautionary measure, during the unrest last week, was closed for production. We are very
thankful that our facility was not damaged, and our key suppliers are functional. As of Monday,
19 July 2021, manufacturing in our Durban factory recommenced and we have put plans in
place to catch up on the backlog of orders.
