Notification of changes in the beneficial interest in Accelerate
In compliance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008), as
amended (“Companies Act”) and paragraph 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited (“JSE”), shareholders are advised that Accelerate has received formal notification in
terms of section 122(1) of the Companies Act that:
- K2016336084 (South Africa) (Pty) Limited (“The iGroup”) has acquired a beneficial
interest in the securities of the Company, such that, in aggregate, the total interest in
the ordinary shares of the Company held by The iGroup amounts to 8.64% of the total
issued ordinary shares of the Company; and
- Public Investment Corporation (SOC) Limited (“PIC”) has disposed of a beneficial
interest in the securities of the Company, such that, in aggregate, the total interest in
the ordinary shares of the Company now held by PIC amounts to 0,702% of the total
issued ordinary shares of the Company.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Accelerate has filed the
required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel (“TRP”).
