RESIGNATION OF AUDITOR
In accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to
advise shareholders once it receives notice from its external auditor of its resignation.
Afdawn hereby advises shareholders that the Company’s external auditor, Mazars has
resigned as auditor of Afdawn with effect from 25 August 2021.
The reasons for Mazars’ resignation relates to its strategic direction and current capacity as
well as the Company’s risk profile, following an internal evaluation of its client portfolio.
The board of Afdawn has commenced the process of appointing a new external auditor and
will advise shareholders once the new appointment has been made.
