Notification of Change in External Auditor
The Vunani Limited Board of Directors wishes to inform shareholders of its
decision to adopt mandatory audit firm rotation ahead of the date prescribed
by the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors (” IRBA”). The change will
be put to shareholders at the next annual general meeting of the Company.
Shareholders are advised that in line with the decision, and following the
conclusion of a selection process, the Audit and Risk Committee has
recommended and the Board approved the appointment of BDO South Africa
Incorporated (“BDO”), with Lance September as the designated audit partner,
to succeed KPMG Inc. as the group's external auditor, with effect from 1
November 2021.
The Board and Audit and Risk Committee thank KPMG Inc. for their contributions
over the last 12 years and look forward to working with BDO going forward.
