CHANGE IN AUDITORS
In compliance with paragraphs 3.75 to 3.77 of the JSE Listings Requirements, Wescoal hereby
notifies its shareholders that:
• the Company has appointed KPMG Inc (“KPMG”) as the new external auditors for the 31
March 2022 financial year, with the designated audit partner being Ms Nompakamo
Matanzima. The Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee of Wescoal has recommended the
appointment of KPMG Inc.; and
• Wescoal’s current auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc (“PWC”) have been the
Company’s auditors since 2011 and in line with the early adoption of mandatory audit firm
rotation, have resigned as auditors of Wescoal.
The above resignation and appointment are effective immediately.
The board of Wescoal sincerely thanks PwC for their service to the Company and welcomes
KPMG as the new external auditors.
