RESIGNATION FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board of FirstRand Limited (the
board) wishes to announce the resignation of Mr Francois (Faffa) Knoetze as a non-executive director with effect from
1 December 2021.
Mr Knoetze informed the board that his decision resulted from a request from his employer to relinquish his non-
executive role on the board in order to commit more time to his expanded executive and other responsibilities.
Mr Knoetze was appointed to the board in April 2016 and the board sincerely thanks him for his invaluable commitment
and contribution as a non-executive director.
