TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2021
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial
results for the previous corresponding period.
Nictus shareholders are advised that for the six months ended 30 September 2021, the Group expects
to report:
- earnings per share (“EPS”) of between 1.99 and 4.01 cents, which is between 60% and 80%
lower than the previous corresponding period’s EPS of 10.11 cents; and
- headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) of between 1.93 and 3.95 cents, which is between 61%
and 81% lower than the previous corresponding period’s HEPS of 10.11 cents.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by the Company’s auditors and is the responsibility of the directors of the Company.
The financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2021 are expected to be published on
SENS on or about 7 December 2021.
