CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on 29 October 2021, wherein the company advised
that Dries Ferreira, the former financial director of the company, had resigned from the board of directors (the
“board”).
The board is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan John Wilson as financial director of Newpark with
effect from 1 January 2022.
Alan is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst by qualification and has some 20
years’ experience in the financial sector, with a focus on fund and asset management, business structure,
corporate strategy, liquidations, risk management and investor relations, both locally and internationally. Alan
filled various positions within the FirstRand Group for 17 years. From May 2011 Alan was the chief financial
officer/chief operating officer of RMB Westport Property Partners, a private equity real estate development
business. Alan left the FirstRand Group at the end of August 2021.
Alan brings with him a wealth of financial and corporate knowledge and leadership experience. The board
welcomes Alan and looks forward to his contributions to the company.
