UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT: DIVESTMENT FROM UMONGO PETROLEUM
Shareholders are referred to the category two announcement released on SENS on 21 October 2021, which
announcement provided details of Omnia's divestment from Umongo Petroleum (the "Transaction"). Omnia
is pleased to advise that the conditions precedent have been fulfilled, and the Transaction is now unconditional.
Seelan Gobalsamy, Omnia's CEO, commented: "The successful conclusion of this transaction is a further
step in the disciplined execution of our Group's strategy which has established a solid financial and
operational foundation to take Omnia forward. The proceeds also provide additional optionality to create
value, either through capital allocation towards growth opportunities or by returning cash to shareholders."”
The effective closing date of the Transaction is today, 31 January 2022.
