Notification of a disposal of beneficial interest in Imperial securities
In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 ("the
Companies Act"), Regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations 2011
and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that the Company has received notification from
M&G plc (UK) (previously Prudential plc) (“M&G”) that M&G disposed of all
the Imperial ordinary shares held by M&G on behalf of its clients.
The Company confirms that, as required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the
Companies Act, it has filed the required notices with the Takeover
Regulation Panel and that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, the
information supplied by M&G is complete and consistent.
