FURTHER DELAY IN AVAILABILITY OF UMGENI WATER’S ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR
ENDED 30 JUNE 2021
Debt investors are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 31 January 2022 which stated that
the audited annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2021 (“AFS”) would be released by 28
February 2022.
Umgeni Water hereby advises that it cannot publicly release its annual report, incorporating the AFS
(“Annual Report”), until such time as the Annual Report is tabled at a sitting of Parliament. Currently, the
meeting for the tabling of the Annual Report has not yet been set and the Company’s governance
structures are in communication with the Office of the Minister of Water and Sanitation to obtain the date
of tabling of the Annual Report.
A further announcement will be released in due course regarding the availability of Umgeni Water’s Annual
Report.
