CHANGES TO THE CLIENTELE LIMITED BOARD
In terms of section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the Board of directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr.
Michael Cownie as the Group Executive Financial Director to the Board with
effect 1 January 2023. Mr. Cownie will be taking over from Mr. Iain Hume,
the Group Executive Financial Director, who announced his early retirement,
effective 31 December 2022, in September 2021.
Mr. Cownie is a qualified Chartered Accountant (S.A.) and joined the Group
in March 2013 as Head of Group Finance. Mr. Cownie was appointed as the
Financial Director of Clientèle General Insurance Limited on 1 August 2017
and as Financial Director of Clientèle Life Assurance Company Limited on 30
August 2021.
The Board welcomes Mr. Cownie and looks forward to his continued
contribution to the Group.
