ANNOUNCEMENT IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 (1) and (3) of the COMPANIES ACT
In accordance with section 122(3) (b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”) and section 3.83(b)
of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Alviva has received formal
notification in the prescribed form from Old Mutual Limited (“Old Mutual”) that the beneficial interest in the
securities of the Company held by Old Mutual has increased. The effect is that Old Mutual’s shareholding
has increased from 4.93% to 5.00% of the total issued shares of the Company.
As required in terms of section 122(3) (a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required notice with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
