LONDON, 21 NOVEMBER 2022
On 1 July 2022, Gemfields announced that Mr Carel Malan had tendered his resignation as an
Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and would leave the Board, at the latest,
on 31 December 2022.
Gemfields is pleased to advise that Mr Malan has rescinded his resignation and will therefore
continue as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He will continue as a
member of the Nomination Committee and will, with immediate effect, resume his position as
Chair of the Audit Committee.
