UPDATE ON THE JSE'S DECISION REGARDING FORTRESS' REIT STATUS AND OBJECTION PROCESS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 2 November 2022 regarding the Company's REIT
status and the demand to call general meetings of shareholders and the announcement released on SENS on
1 December 2022 with regard to the JSE notifying Fortress of the JSE's intention to remove Fortress' REIT status (the
"Announcements"). Unless otherwise defined, words defined in the Announcements bear the same meaning in this
announcement.
Fortress has lodged an objection to the Decision (the "Objection") in accordance with the provisions of the Objection
Process. The JSE has advised Fortress that the outcome of the general meetings to consider and vote on the Proposal,
scheduled to be held on 12 January 2023 and in respect of which a circular was issued on 25 November 2022, is
important information that the JSE will consider in assessing the Objection. Accordingly, the JSE will finalise its
response to the Objection after the results of the general meetings to be held on 12 January 2023 have been finalised.
