ANDRÉ DE RUYTER RESIGNS AS GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF ESKOM
Debtholders are advised, in accordance with section 6.39 of the Debt Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited that Mr André De Ruyter, has resigned from his role as the Group Chief
Executive of Eskom.
Mr De Ruyter has agreed to stay for an additional period beyond the stipulated 30-days’
notice period to ensure continuity while the Eskom Board urgently embarks on a search for
his successor. His last day at Eskom will be 31 March 2023.
The Eskom Board thanks Mr De Ruyter for his extraordinary service to the people of South
Africa and to Eskom during what has been a tumultuous period for the company.
