RESIGNATION OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board of
directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise that Niclas Kjellström-Matseke
(“Niclas”), has resigned as an independent non-executive director from the Board, and as
member of the social and ethics, audit and risk, nominations, remuneration and investment
committees of Spear, with immediate effect.
The Board has commenced a process of identifying a suitable replacement and shareholders
will be advised in due course of the filling of vacancies on the relevant committees arising
from Niclas’ resignation.
The Board would like to thank Niclas for his valuable contribution to the Company and wishes
him well in his future endeavours.
