CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT – INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Following a query from an interested party and with reference to the SENS announcement published
on 22 September 2022, the Board confirms that Ms Cordelia Sachiti was appointed as the interim Chief
Executive Office with effect from 15 September 2022, having assumed the management functions
from the date of passing of the former Chief Executive Officer. She remains the Financial Director of
PL Group and is being supported by the non-executive directors, the Designated Advisor and the
Company Secretary, where needed.
The Board will seek to appoint an additional executive director in due course following the
regularisation and recapitalisation of the Company and to ensure compliance with the JSE Listings
Requirements. The Board wants to ensure that the right candidate is appointed for the group going
forward, with input from key stakeholders.
