It is with deep sadness that the board of directors of AYO (“the Board”) announces the passing of Dr
Dennis George, AYO’s independent non-executive director, on 15 May 2023.
Dr Dennis George, who joined the Board in 2018, was a pioneer of AYO’s broad-based black economic
empowerment mandate to transform the South African ICT sector. AYO is grateful for Dr George’s
contribution over the past five years to its Board, the Company and its employees.
The Board extends their condolences and deepest sympathies to the George family during this difficult
time.
