BAKUBUNG PLATINUM MINE PROCESSING PLANT PROGRESS UPDATE
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 21 April 2023 advising
that hot commissioning of the Bakubung Platinum Mine (“BPM”) processing plant
(“BPM Processing Plant”) was planned from 23 March 2023 to 30 March 2023, however,
due to several challenges during this period, a steady state operation was not achieved for
seven continuous days and the Company accordingly indicated that the commissioning of
the BPM Processing Plant was envisaged to commence before the end of May 2023.
The Company is pleased to hereby advise shareholders that the commissioning of the BPM
Processing Plant will commence on 31 May 2023, and that production at the BPM is
expected to commence as soon as possible after the commissioning process of the BPM
Processing Plant has been completed.
The Company will update shareholders and investors on the progress at the BPM, and further
announcements will be made in this regard, as and when appropriate.
The board of directors of the Company would like to extend its appreciation and thanks to
shareholders for their continued investment and interest in the Company.
