APPOINTMENT OF ACTING GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY AND GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY
Further to the SENS announcement released on 25 January 2023 and in compliance with paragraphs 3.59
and 6.39 of the JSE Limited Listings and Debt Listings Requirements, shareholders and noteholders are
advised that following the resignation of the Group Company Secretary, Ms Nomalanga Nobuhle Mbongo
with effect from 31 March 2023, Ms. Ayanda Manqele, the current Deputy Group Company Secretary of
Discovery, has been appointed as the Acting Group Company Secretary of Discovery with effect from 31
May 2023. Ms. Manqele will hold this position until 31 August 2023.
Shareholders and noteholders are further advised that Ms. Ayanda Ceba has been appointed as Group
Company Secretary of Discovery with effect from 1 September 2023.
Ms Ceba is the current Group Company Secretary and Ethics Officer at Telkom Limited. She holds a BProc,
LLB, LLM in Corporate Law and CIS (Corporate Governance Institute of Southern Africa). She is a qualified
Chartered Company Secretary and a Fellow of the Corporate Governance Institute of Southern Africa.
The Discovery Board wishes both Ayanda Manqele and Ayanda Ceba success in their new roles.
