CURRO CREDIT RATING UPGRADE
Curro is pleased to announce that the rating agency, Global Credit Rating Company (“GCR”),
recently upgraded both the long- and short-term national scale issuer ratings assigned to
Curro, from BBB+(ZA) and A2(ZA), to A(ZA) and A1(ZA) respectively, with a Stable Outlook.
GCR indicated that these rating upgrades follow the strong improvements in Curro’s capital
structure and liquidity, following its successful debt refinancing efforts. According to GCR,
further rating support derives from the Curro group’s strong competitive position and continued
earnings growth. The Stable Outlook reflects GCR’s expectation that Curro will benefit from
firm revenue and earnings growth, supported by favourable demand trends in the private
education market.
