TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2023
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial
results for the year ended 31 March 2022 (“Previous Corresponding Period”).
Nictus shareholders are advised that for the year ended 31 March 2023, the Group expects to report:
- earnings per share (“EPS”) of between 14.44 and 16.32 cents, which is between 53% and 73%
higher than the Previous Corresponding Period’s EPS of 9.43 cents; and
- headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) of between 14.35 and 16.19 cents, which is between 56%
and 76% higher than the Previous Corresponding Period’s HEPS of 9.22 cents.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported
on by Nictus’ independent auditor and is the responsibility of the directors of the Company.
The financial results for the year ended 31 March 2023 are expected to be published on SENS on or
about 30 June 2023.
