NOTICE OF AN ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SPAR SECURITIES
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, as amended, and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, SPAR shareholders are advised that the
Company has received formal notification that MandG Investment Managers Proprietary Limited, on
behalf of underlying Clients (“MandG”), has acquired a beneficial interest in SPAR securities
(the “Acquisition”).
Following the Acquisition, MandG now holds 10.01% of the total issued ordinary share capital of the
Company.
The board of directors of SPAR accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement and certifies that, to the best of its knowledge and belief, the information contained in
this announcement is true and that there are no facts that have been omitted which would likely affect
