AVAILABILITY OF ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Further to Shoprite Holdings’ reviewed results for the 52 weeks ended 2 July
2023, released on SENS on 5 September 2023 (“Reviewed Results”), the audited
annual financial statements are now available on the JSE’s cloudlink at
https://senspdf.jse.co.za/documents/2023/jse/isse/SHP/afs2023.pdf and on the
Company’s website at https://www.shopriteholdings.co.za/docs/shp-afs-2023.pdf
The annual financial statements have been audited by the independent auditor,
PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc, who expressed an unmodified audit opinion thereon and
contain no modifications to the Reviewed Results.
A further announcement will be released once the integrated annual report, incorporating
the notice of annual general meeting, is distributed to shareholders.
