CHANGES TO THE BOARD – APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR


In compliance with paragraph 6.39 of the Debt Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of
directors of KOBWA ("the Board") hereby notifies Noteholders that Mr Monde January has been
appointed as an executive director and Corporate Services Director of KOBWA with effect from
16 October 2023 pursuant to the Issuer's Board Nomination and Appointment Policy (as published on
www.kobwa.co.za/about/docs/KOBWA_Board_Nomination.pdf ).

Mr Monde January holds an MBA from the North West University. His career spans various government
sectors, where he served in various capacities. Most notably, his last assignment was that of Municipal
Manager at Kgatelopele Local Municipality.

The Board, together with the Joint Water Commission, welcomes Mr January and looks forward to him
driving KOBWA's strategic objectives, and ultimately transforming the transboundary water sector for
the benefit of all its stakeholders.
