UPDATE: RESIGNATION OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements,
following the announcement of 16 October 2023 the Issuer wishes to notify noteholders
that the Department of Public Enterprises has confirmed that the effective date of Dr
Popo Molefe's resignation as a Non-Executive Director on the Transnet Board of Directors
is 31 October 2023 as oppose to the 12 November 2023, as previously announced.
