NATIONAL TREASURY'S GLOBAL INVESTOR CALL POST 2023 MEDIUM-TERM BUDGET POLICY STATEMENT

The Republic of South Africa, rated Ba2 (stable) by Moody's; BB- (stable) by S&P; and
BB- (stable) by Fitch, has mandated Goldman Sachs International, HSBC and The Standard
Bank of South Africa Limited to arrange a Global Investor Call ("GIC") scheduled for
Wednesday, 1 November 2023 at 10.00 NY / 14.00 UK / 16.00 SA time, followed by a series
of in-person and virtual fixed income investor meetings in Cape Town on Thursday,
2 November 2023 and Friday, 3 November 2023 and in Johannesburg on Monday,
6 November 2023. The GIC will be led by the Director General of The National Treasury,
Duncan Pieterse.
