TEMPORARY MEDICAL LEAVE OF THE CHAIR AND APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CHAIR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 (c) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders
are advised that the Chair of the board of directors of the Company ("the board"), Mr Deon de
Kock, will be taking temporary medical leave with immediate effect, and is expected to return
by 27 November 2023.
The board has appointed the lead independent director, Mr Richard Buchholz, as Acting Chair
with immediate effect and until such time as Mr de Kock is able to resume his duties.
