Change to board of directors
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders of
Buka Investments Limited are hereby advised that Mr Talib Sadik, has resigned as non-
executive director and Chairman of the Board for the Company effective on Thursday 30
November 2023.Consequently, Mr Sadik has also stepped down as a member of Buka's
Audit and Risk Committee and Remuneration and Nominations Committee with effect from
the same date.
Mr Sadik is stepping down to pursue other opportunities more in line with his personal
career goals. The Board has duly accepted his resignation and wishes him well in his
future endeavours.
The Buka Board wishes to thank Mr Sadik for his invaluable contribution to the Company
during his tenure as Chairman of the Board and member of two committees.
A process to appoint a new Chairman has been initiated and an announcement will be
published in due course.
