FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CHIEF FINANCIAL
OFFICER
Noteholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 31 March 2023
regarding the appointment of Mr Martin Buys as Acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with
immediate effect.
In this regard, Eskom advises that Mr Buys is fulfilling the role of Acting CFO and executive
director of Eskom due to Mr Calib Cassim, the previous CFO, having been appointed as
Acting Group Chief Executive until such time as the position of Group Chief Executive has
been filled.
The above appointment was done in terms of the nomination requirements outlined in the
"Handbook for the Appointment of Persons to Boards of State and State-Controlled
Institutions".
