CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that
the board of directors of the Company ("Board") has accepted the resignation of Mr. Alex Phakathi
as a member of the Board, the Chairman of the Asset Liability and Investment Committee and as a
member of the Risk and Compliance Committee ("Committees") with effect from 23 February 2024.
Mr. Phakathi has assumed an executive role in a state-owned company. In pursuit of good
governance, he has opted to resign from the Board as the Company conducts business with
Government.
Further announcements regarding appointments to the Board and Board committees will be made in
due course.
The Board wishes Mr. Phakathi well and thanks him for his valuable contribution to the Board.
