RECEIPT OF REGULATORY APPROVAL FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF JASON QUINN AS GROUP
CHIEF EXECUTIVE AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FROM 31 MAY 2024
Further to the announcement released on SENS on 22 November 2023, wherein it was advised that the
Nedbank Group and Nedbank boards of directors (the Boards) had, subject to regulatory approval,
appointed Jason Quinn as CE-designate of Nedbank Group and Nedbank, shareholders are advised
that approval has now been received from the Prudential Authority of the South African Reserve Bank
for Jason's appointment as Group Chief Executive and executive director on the Boards.
As previously advised, Jason will assume the role of Group Chief Executive on Mike Brown's planned
retirement from the Boards upon conclusion of the Nedbank Group annual general meeting, currently
scheduled for 31 May 2024.
