APPOINTMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Mr
Paballo Makosholo has been appointed as an independent non-executive director to FirstRand Limited's board of
directors (the board) with effect from 1 October 2024.
Paballo is a qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience in strategy development, governance,
auditing, investments, and corporate finance, which adds to the skillset of the board.
FirstRand confirms that Mr Makosholo's appointment is in accordance with the group's nomination policy for the
appointment of non-executive directors.
The board congratulates Mr Makosholo on his appointment and looks forward to his contribution.
