PASSING AWAY OF DIRECTOR
The board of Master Drilling announces with profound sadness the passing away of Mr. Shane
Ferguson, a valued non-independent non-executive director. Ever since the listing of the Company in
2012, Mr. Ferguson played an important role in advancing the Company's governance framework and
compliance processes, contributing to the board and board committees with insight and dedication. His
contributions will be greatly missed.
The board extends its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Ferguson's family, friends, and colleagues.
In line with the JSE Listings Requirements and the King IV Code on Corporate Governance, the board
is assessing steps required to ensure continuity across all affected committees. Shareholders will be
kept informed of any developments as necessary.
