Completion of the disposal of Mpact's Versapak division
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on 1
August 2024, relating to the sale of business agreement entered
into between the Company, through its subsidiary Mpact
Operations Proprietary Limited (the "Seller") and Greenpath
Recycling Proprietary Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of
Sinica Manufacturing Proprietary Limited) (the "Purchaser"), in
terms of which the Seller will dispose of its Versapak business
("Versapak") to the Purchaser (the "Transaction").
Shareholders are hereby advised that the Transaction has become
unconditional in accordance with its terms and the parties have
completed the sale of Versapak with effect from 4 November 2024.
The purchase price paid by the Purchaser, after adjusting for
the actual amount of stock on hand and employee liabilities, was
R254,700,897 (including VAT at 0%).
